During the PR conference, not only Bitget representatives but also the company’s partners took the stage. In his presentation, the founder and head of the educational academy KriptoAZ, Khalil Ibrahimov, emphasized that P2P trading is actively developing in the country and is particularly popular among retail investors, traders, and crypto users.
"The number of cryptocurrency holders in Baku and Azerbaijan as a whole is growing rapidly. I see that more and more people are becoming interested in crypto assets, studying them, and trying to use them in their daily lives. This indicates that interest in crypto coins is rising and that the market itself is actively evolving," said the speaker.
Education and Beyond: What Bitget Offers the Azerbaijani Market
Currently, the cryptocurrency exchange Bitget is actively expanding its presence in CIS countries, and Azerbaijan is no exception. According to Bitget COO Vugar Usi Zade, the company plans to hold several events throughout the year aimed at educating people and improving cryptocurrency literacy.
"We plan to launch several educational programs as part of our global Blockchain4Youth initiative, which is specifically designed to raise awareness about cryptocurrency opportunities. We aim to implement these programs in collaboration with local universities," said Vugar.
In addition, Bitget intends to introduce the Bitget Builders program, which helps build loyal communities alongside the exchange and rewards participants for their engagement. This initiative will strengthen the company's brand and foster a dedicated community in Azerbaijan.
